Born in Lisbon, I am now based in London. I am a filmmaker, scriptwriter, editor, photographer and artist. Since 1995 I directed both middle and full length features, fiction, documentary and experimental films. I had my features awarded in the Venice Film Festival and Locarno. Experimental visual research is essencial in my work. Currently I am working in documentary films, photography, mutant-paintings and interactive performance projects. In London I also work as a freelancer - filmmaker and editor while develloping my own projects.
