LONDON GROUND

INTRO. In Nov 2009 I invited 3 artists-friends to participate in a filming night to get LONDON GROUND started! I asked them to bring their artwork and improvise a piece with me. We got some ideas to start with, but there was no script, things were quite spontaneous and it grew organically. I filmed Alice, Chris and Fabba-J at VHS basement & picture house - a group of artists and filmmakers who have been squatting buildings in central London to show and make independent films. These episodes were shot when they were squatting a strip club in Mayfair, London. We got the spirit of LONDON GROUND rocking! Since then I've been making films - 12 so far (series 1). You can watch them all online at LONDON GROUND CHANNEL. This is an independent and on-going project. More films coming SOON! Claudia Tomaz
